SPRINGFIELD, OH (FOX19) -

A former Milford standout baseball player accused of rape near his college town in Springfield, Ohio, is set to face a judge Friday.

Frank Sullivan, 23, is facing four counts of rape, two counts of sexual battery and two counts of gross sexual imposition for alleged incidents near the Wittenberg University campus.

The Springfield News Sun reports the alleged assaults occurred in August of 2015, between Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 of 2015 and March of this year.

School officials said they will try to complete the school's internal investigation within 60 days.

Sullivan was Milford's Pitcher of the Year in 2010 and 2011.

He is the school's all-time leader in strikeouts per seven innings. Sullivan originally went to the University of Cincinnati to play baseball and then transferred to Wittenberg in 2013 to continue his career.
