UPDATE: Three injured in Westwood auto crash

WESTWOOD, OH (FOX19) -

Three people were injured an automobile accident in Westwood just after 5 p.m., dispatch confirmed. 

According to police, four vehicles collided on Westwood Northern Blvd. at Ferncroft Ct. 

Westwood Northern Boulevard is shut down due to the incident between Montana and Gobel avenues.

Police said one of the drivers, a 6-year-old and a 9-year-old were transported to an area hospital. 

Police originally believed that two children were struck, but the children had been pulled from the vehicle, prompting 911 calls that two pedestrians were struck. 

Officials have not released any information on their conditions.
