Green Twp. 17-year-old injured in head-on crash

GREEN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

A 17-year-old was rushed to the hospital following a head-on collision in Green Township Saturday afternoon.

According to police, Adam Yeoman, 31, was driving a 20015 Ford F-250 southbound in the 7100 block of Taylor Road when the juvenile male failed to maintain control of his vehicle when making a right bound curve and crossed the center dividing lines.

Police said that is when the juvenile's Nissan Sentra entered into the path of the Ford F-250, striking it head-on.

The Green Township Fire Department responded to the scene and had to mechanically extricate the juvenile from his vehicle.

He was transported to University Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition.

Yeoman was not injured in the crash.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash, according to authorities.

Police said speed, alcohol and drugs did not contribute to the crash.

Officials cited the juvenile for failing to maintain reasonable control of his vehicle.
