All clear after hospital bomb scare

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Tense moments following a bomb scare at University of Cincinnati Medical Center late Monday.

Police and firefighters rushed to the hospital after someone called 911, saying a bomb would go off in one hour.

Officers and UC staff swept the hospital but did not find anything.

An "All-Clear" was issued around midnight.

UC Health officials released a statement early Tuesday, which read in part: "We take these threats seriously and swiftly followed protocols. Our number one priority is the safety of our patients and staff."

Patient care was not impacted, they said.
