FOX19 -

Retired North Dakota farmer Gene Hanson plowed a football sized tribute to Prince.

Hanson says he always like the song “Purple Rain.”

The 75-year-old says he found an image of the symbol on the Internet. He put it on his tractor’s dash and followed the pattern.

After he finished, he jumped into his plane to check it out.

Hanson says he could believe it turned out so well.

The tribute only temporary.  Hanson says the field was seeded Monday.
