Weekend Begins with Deadly Accidents

Local police are investigating several deadly accidents within the last 24 hours. When merging on to us 50, 18-year-old Charles Hundley Junior of Delhi left the right side of the ramp, spinning into a 360 and hitting the retaining wall twice on West Sixth street around 2:30 Saturday morning. He was pronounced dead at the scene.  Cincinnati police believe alcohol may have been a factor.

Alcohol could also be to blame in a Korthern Kentucky accident. 42-year-old Brenda Hickman was killed on KY Rt. 8 around midnight, in Pendleton County. Investigators say she missed a curve in the road and hit a tree head on.

In Batavia, the Ohio State Highway patrol believes a medical condition caused 57-year-old Charles Ellis to crash into a basketball pole and a house.  Investigators believe he died from that condition, rather than injuries suffered in the accident.

An afternoon joy ride turned into a nightmare after a motorcycle accident leaves a man in serious condition, Saturday night.  Hamilton County Sheriff's office says 45-year-old Douglas Moore went left of center on Taylor Rd. in Green township and hit the side of a Toyota Camry.  He lost control and was thrown from the bike, he then slid on the ground, and was hit by an SUV.  Moore wasn't wearing a helmet, everyone else involved in the accident walked away without injury.
