Plane at Clermont Co. airport lands on its top

Plane flipped over on runway after landing (VIDEO)

CLERMONT COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - A plane at the Clermont County Airport ended up on its top after the pilot lost control due to a crosswind Friday evening, Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

The incident occurred at the north end of the runway when the plane traveled off the right side and struck a taxi-way light before ending up on its top.

The pilot of the 1947 Stinson 108-2, Andrew Garon, of Burlington, was the only person inside the plane and was not injured.

The airport's Facebook page states services include flight training, aircraft rental, new aircraft sales, aircraft maintenance and avionics.
