FOX19 -

To celebrate the trending hashtag Woman Crush Wednesday FOX19 NOW had successful entrepreneur Tracey Artis in the studio to talk about breaking out on your own in business and how she started the I Hear Music weekend conference.

1. Know your vision - have a clear vision of what you want to do and the impact you want to make. Write out a plan to help you get there and to make sure you keep yourself accountable and can keep track of your goals and achievements.

2. Understand that you need a team - you can't really continue to build a successful business without a team. You might not have employees right away, but you should make sure you have a team with a life coach, accountant and a lawyer at least.

3. Utilize technology - you'll need to keep up with what's going on concerning the latest technology and make sure your business adjusts accordingly. Also, make sure you embrace social media and use it to your advantage to build your business and make connections.

The conference is Friday - Sunday.

The highlight of the conference is the concert on Friday, which will feature Tye Tribbett, Earnest Pugh, Ricky Dillard, Vashawn Mitchell, Tasha Page-Lockhart, Zacardi Cortez and more. Here is some key information about the rest of the weekend:

•  Saturday - a new artist showcase, listening party with exclusive new music from Marcus Cole (formerly of Commissioned), a Q&A session with Tasha Page- Lockhart and a choir sing off.

•  Sunday - the Legend’s Ball, featuring keynote speaker Dorinda Clark-Cole to celebrate local community leaders and national artists in gospel music.
