World War II veteran Ben Sofka attended the Boston Red Sox game against the Oakland Athletics and left the game with a foul as a gift.
Mr. Sofka was even featured on the big screen which read, “The Red Sox wish a happy 100th birthday to WWII veteran Ben Sofka!”
However, his big night continued when a ball girl ran over to him with a foul ball. He beamed from ear to ear with joy as he accepted the gift.
