CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Everyone knows how annoying it is when your phone runs out of battery at the worst possible moment.

Now, researchers in England have come up with a device so that never happens again.

It's called the Powershake. It can tap into the battery of any other device, and transfer energy to your phone.

Whether you have your own smartwatch or iPod, or you want to get battery from a stranger's phone, the device lets you charge up.

The only snag so far: people were not very willing to give up their phone battery to a stranger!
