Two people are in the hospital after a good Samaritan stopped to help a stranded driver Saturday night.
Police say a driver stopped to help jumpstart a car on I-74 near I-275 around 11:30 p.m.
When the good Samaritan went to leave he backed up his car into oncoming traffic, investigators said.
Officials say two people were taken to the hospital. One was a female teenager. The second was a 75-year-old man with head, neck and chest pains. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
Police have not released the identities of the victims.
