BURLINGTON, KY (FOX19) - Three months after fire destroyed the Rabbit Hash General Store, the community will get an update on rebuilding efforts.
A public meeting is planned for 6:30 p.m. at the Boone County Cooperative Extension Service Office, 6028 Camp Ernst Rd., Burlington.
Those who are rehabbing the historic building will be on hand giving information and answering questions.
There also will be information on volunteer opportunities to help the rebuild.
A fire destroyed the iconic General Store in February. Investigators do not know the cause of the fire, but arson has been ruled out.
The business opened in 1831 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
