More and more people are getting tattoos.
A new Harris Polls shows 29 percent of adults have at least one "tat", up from 21 percent just three years ago.
It's even more common for people between the ages of 18 and 35 with 47-percent of them sporting some kind of tattoo.
But there are some risks to all that ink.
The Food and Drug Administration says it has received more reports of infections, allergic reactions and other reactions directly linked to tattoos.
A tattoo can cost about $100 for something basic, but it can also cost about $1,000 to have it removed.
