CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Are you scared of using the Internet?
In a new government survey, thousands of people said they were.
Nearly 50 percent of Internet users in the survey said they were hesitant to post to social networks, express opinions in forums, even buy things from
websites, because of privacy and security concerns.
Of those people, nearly 20 percent had some personal experience with identity fraud.
While not many were swearing off the internet entirely, 45 percent said their concerns had stopped them from doing some practical things on the web.
