NORTHSIDE, OH (FOX19) - A 33-year-old man is expected to recover from a shooting late Monday, Cincinnati police said.
He told police he was walking on Hamilton Avenue when he heard gunshots and then realized he was hit in the upper left side about 10:40 p.m., said Lt. Tim Brown, the night chief.
He told police he ran to Ginger's Bar nearby at 1701 Blue Rock Rd., where he was found outside and taken by private vehicle to Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was later transferred by ambulance to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Police say he will recover.
An investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.
The man told police he did not see who shot him, Brown said.
