FORT WRIGHT, KY (FOX19) -

Ft. Wright Police are attempting to identify two suspects accused of putting a credit card skimming device inside a Walmart.

According to detectives, Walmart's asset protection associates found the device attached to a credit card reader in the self-checkout area Wednesday.

APA was able to determine the device was installed on May 11 by two male whites.

Police said it took about 10 seconds for the device to be installed by the subjects.

Skimming devices have been found previously on ATMs and gas pumps.

TIPS: How to spot ATM skimming devices

When a customer swipes their credit or debit card, the skimmer reads and saves the card information.

Anyone who recognizes the men is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040.
