WESTWOOD, OH (FOX19) -

A 14 and 16 year old were arrested for allegedly robbing a Westwood bank on Glenway Avenue Friday morning, police said.

Cincinnati Police District Three and Green Township Police responded to Cheviot Savings Bank in the 5700 block of Glenway Ave, just before 9:30 p.m.

Police said two teens entered the bank and presented a note to the tellers demanding cash. The suspects implied they were armed, however no weapons were seen.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, police said the suspects fled the bank on foot and headed north across Glenway Avenue.

Officers canvassed the area and were able to locate and arrest the suspects without incident.  Police also recovered the money.

Officials say the teens robbed the bank because of financial difficulties at home.

Police have not released the name of the suspects.
