Guide: Taste of Cincinnati 2016

CINCINNATI (FOX19) -

Some of Cincinnati’s best restaurants will line the streets of downtown this weekend for the 38th Taste of Cincinnati food festival.

Half a million people are expected to attend the event, which is one of the largest street festivals in the country. 

Festival Hours:

  • Saturday, May 28: 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 29: 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
  • Monday, May 30: 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Getting to Taste: Parking, directions and public transportation

In the weeks leading up to Taste, menu items are judged for the prestigious Best of Taste Awards. Categories include best appetizer, dessert, entrée and more. Check out the winners and menu at this link.

What’s new in 2016?                                                             

12 new participants: Skyline Chili, Crave, Forno Osteria & Bar, Buono Terra, Cazadores Restaurant, Adena's Beefstroll, Alabama Fish Bar, Best Thing Smokin, Just Jerks, Roll With it Café, and Urban Vistro.

Expanded Food Truck Alley: 15 food trucks will take over North Broadway off of Fifth Street and South Broadway. The alley also includes live music and seating.

Caterers’ Corner: On Monday, top caterers will offer three hour visits, serving their unique dishes. 

Entertainment:

More than 50 music and comedy acts will perform on six stages throughout the event. Check out the full lineup and schedule at this link.
