WEST END, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati police said they are investigating how a 17-year-old male wound up shot twice late Monday.
The teen told police he heard gunshots and then realized he was shot in his left knee and hand as he walked down Liberty Street near Linn Street about 9:30 p.m., said Lt. Tim Brown, the night chief.
The victim said he ran to a nearby parking lot for help.
He was taken by ambulance to University of Cincinnati Medical Center and is expected to recover, Brown said.
The teen told police he did not know his assailant.
An investigation continues. No arrests were made.
