Cincinnati police said they are searching for a motorist who fled the scene of a crash that shut down Warsaw Avenue for about an hour Wednesday morning.
A black, four-door sedan headed northbound on Grand Avenue ran a red flashing light and struck an eastbound white pickup truck on Warsaw Avenue, where the traffic signal was flashing yellow, they said.
The pickup truck flipped onto its top about 6:10 a.m.
Three people inside, including the driver, were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
The driver of the black car fled the scene, leaving the damaged vehicle behind, police said.
A third vehicle parked in a nearby driveway was damaged by items - a shovel and wheelbarrow - that flew from the back of the truck after it was hit.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
