CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A body found near a missing Cincinnati woman's vehicle near Metamora, Indiana has been identified as that woman, according to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.

The body found was identified Wednesday as Therese Barrett.

Police report that Barrett, 61, had been missing since May 9. The following day, Franklin County deputies located a 2013 Blue Hyundai Sonata, belonging to Barrett, off U.S. 52 on Standard Materials Road.

Officials initially didn't find anything when they searched the area for Barrett. On May 20, officials were notified by a citizen who discovered a body in a field, but officials couldn't confirm that it was her at the time.

The body was identified as Barrett Wednesday after an autopsy.

Authorities have not discovered anything suspicious, but the investigation is still ongoing.
