AVONDALE, OH (FOX19) - The man who admitted to allegedly killing his Avondale girlfriend was released Tuesday, Cincinnati police said.
Police say they have a separate person of interest in the death of 41-year-old Necole Jones.
The man, whose name has not been released, walked into Cincinnati police headquarters in the West End and confessed to the crime about 8 p.m. Monday, police said.
He told authorities he killed his girlfriend at a home in the 700 block of Glenwood Avenue.
When police arrived, they said they found Jones on the second floor.
Initial reports said Jones suffered a gunshot wound.
