A driver was killed in a three-car accident Saturday on West Chester Road.
According to investigators, a black, Mustang driven by a 56-year-old male from West Chester, was heading eastbound on West Chester Road near Selkirk Drive around 5:40 p.m.
He lost control of his vehicle, crossing the center line and striking a blue, Toyota Corolla head-on.
Officials said the Mustang rolled over coming to rest off of the road. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota Corolla, a 28-year-old from West Chester, and her passenger, a 45-year-old from West Chester, were transported to West Chester Hospital with serious injuries.
A third vehicle, a grey, Ford Focus struck the rear of the Toyota Corolla then veered off of the roadway.
The occupants in this vehicle sustained minor injuries and were not transported to the hospital, officials said.
The accident remains under investigation; however, police said speed does appear to be a factor.
