CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Horseshoe Casino is shutting down for 40 hours, and will reopen as JACK Casino.

This happening Monday at 11:59 p.m.

The casino’s parking structure will also be closed to the public during this time.

"Our team's in there working hard to make sure that whenever we open back up, it's a great experience for the customers that come through the doors,” Barnhill told FOX19 NOW.

The temporary shutdown will allow Caesars Entertainment to transfer operations to the new owner JACK Entertainment.

Everything inside and outside of the casino is being re-branded, from external and internal signage to every pair of dice.

"There's a lot of things that have to be put into place,” said Chad Barnhill who is the General Manager of Jack Cincinnati Casino.

Barnhill says more than 1,000 employees will work through the 40-hour closure to finish the re-branding efforts.

"We're going to change out everything from table games layouts, to cards, to dice, to the chips that we have,” Barnhill said.

If you have any gaming chips from the Horseshoe Casino you can still redeem them for their value.  Barnhill says customers with old chips have 90 days to turn them in for cash.

The Casino is scheduled to reopen on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
