The first Sean Kilpatrick All-American Basketball Camp will take place locally later this summer.
The camp will be held at Finneytown High School on Aug. 1-3 for boys and girls grades 3 through 9.
Kilpatrick, a former University of Cincinnati basketball standout, signed a multiyear contract with the Brooklyn Nets back in March. He appeared in 23 games with the Nets during last season, averaging 13.8 points a game while shooting 36 percent from three-point range.
He is the No. 2 all-time scorer in UC history and was a first-team All-American in 2014 for the Bearcats.
"Cincinnati took me in and supported me through my five years of college," Kilpatrick said. "This is an exciting chance to work with kids in this community."
The themes for Kilpatrick's camp will be character, commitment and competitiveness.
