Live in Louisville: Muhammad Ali prayer service

The first of two funeral services for Muhammad Ali will take place Thursday in Louisville.

People from all over the world traveled this week to Louisville to pay their respects to the three-time heavyweight champion who died Friday at 74.

Thursday's traditional Muslim prayer service called Janazah is being held at the Freedom Center at noon.

Ali's casket will be present at the service, according to the Ali family spokesperson Bob Gunnell, He l told our sister station WAVE that Thursday's Janazah was in Ali's wishes.

About 19,000 people are expected. 

Organizers said they want every Muslim wishing to attend to be able to.  They plan to will open overflow rooms if necessary.

The funeral procession and primary funeral service is set for Friday.
