EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) - A former University of Evansville assistant basketball coach says he's still haunted 40 years after a plane crash in southwestern Indiana killed all members of the school's men's basketball team. Stafford Stephenson tells the Courier and Press he was one of three assistant coaches who were on recruiting trips when a DC-3 chartered to carry the Purple Aces to a game in Nashville, Tennessee, crashed shortly after takeoff on Dec. 13, 1977.

BARDSTOWN, Ky. (AP) - Sixteen-year old Faith Oakley is one of the top student archers in the world. A birth injury left her unable to use her right arm. So the junior at Bethlehem High School in Bardstown uses her teeth to pull back the string on her bow. She finished ninth last summer at the National Archery in the Schools Program World Tournament in Orlando, Florida.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Authorities are investigating the death of a man at a Ford truck plant in Kentucky. Media outlets report that police responded to Ford's Kentucky Truck Plant just before 1 a.m. Saturday. Officers found emergency personnel and Ford security attempting to save the man.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A coroner says an 11-year-old boy is the third victim of a fatal apartment fire in Kentucky. The Courier-Journal reports that the Jefferson County Coroner's Office said Kameron Harris was pronounced dead at Norton Children's Hospital in Louisville on Friday. Smoke inhalation was cited as the cause of death.
