Sonny Kim Memorial Ride on Saturday

CLERMONT COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -

The Iron Shield Motor Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club of Clermont County is honoring fallen Cincinnati Police officer Sonny Kim on Saturday.

The Sonny Kim Memorial Ride will take off from Harley-Davidson of Cincinnati on a 46-mile ride that will include a stop and memorial at Gate of Heaven
Cemetery.

Once back at Harley-Davidson of Cincinnati, there will be live music, and a celebration of Officer Kim’s contributions to the community.

Registration for the ride opens at 9:00 a.m., and the ride begins at 12:00 p.m.

Single rider registration is $25, double riders pay $30.

According to the press release, all proceeds from the ride will for to Kim’s Family.

Officer Kim was a 27-year veteran of the Cincinnati Police Department and father of three. He was shot and killed last June in Madisonville
after responding to reports of a man with a gun.
