A 16-year-old girl succumbed to her injuries after a single-vehicle crash earlier this week.
Marissa Frederick died Thursday morning at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, according to Hamilton Township police.
Police said Frederick was driving her 2013 Honda Civic westbound on McIntire Road on Monday afternoon when she lost control, went airborne and crashed into several trees on the side of the road.
She and a 16-year-old passenger were trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated from the vehicle.
Frederick was transported by Care Flight to Miami Valley Hospital, where she died Thursday.
No word on the condition of the other passenger.
Little Miami Schools says support staff will be available at the high school Friday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
