COLUMBUS, OH (FOX19) - The Ohio State University has decided to reinstate Brutus the Buckeye in the Columbus Pride Festival and Parade on Saturday.

Brutus will join a campus-wide group of faculty staff and senior officials led by President Michael Drake and Athletics Director Gene Smith.

The OSU mascot was pulled from the parade Wednesday because of security concerns after the gay nightclub shooting in Orlando.

Brutus' nemesis will also be there. Ohio University announced that Rufus will be joining Saturday's parade in Downtown Columbus.
