A semi-truck fire shut down the northbound lanes of Interstate I-75 in Ft. Mitchell Thursday night.
The fire started just before 8 p.m. on NB I-75 near the buttermilk Pike exit.
The driver was able to escape safely and the semi-truck was carrying non-hazardous materials.
At 9:15 p.m., officials confirmed to FOX19 NOW that the highway is expected to be closed for another three hours.
