READING, OH (FOX19) - A $1 million bond has been set for a man accused of using a machete to cut a victim's hands during a robbery Wednesday.
Derek Morris is being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center and is charged with aggravated robbery and felonious assault.
Court documents state Morris kicked the victim in the face twice and cut both of his hands with a machete. The victim has multiple stitches on his hands and could lose his right index finger.
According to an affidavit, Morris took an unknown amount of US currency from the victim.
