CHEVIOT, OH (FOX 19) - Cheviot police made an arrest over the weekend in connection with a shooting last week.
Kevon Wiley, 19, is accused of dropping the shooting victim, 20, off at the front entrance to Mercy West Hospital on Thursday and fleeing, court records show.
The victim was shot in his upper chest and arms in the 3300 block of Camvic Terrace about 8:30 p.m., according to Hamilton County emergency dispatch communications. He was transferred from Mercy West to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
It was not immediately clear Monday if the alleged gunman was charged or arrested.
Meanwhile, Cheviot police wrote in court records, Wiley "admitted that he used a Pinesol Solution to clean the victim's blood from the car seat."
Wiley was booked into the Hamilton County jail Saturday on charges of tampering with evidence and failing to report a crime.
He is scheduled to face a judge at 9 a.m. Monday.
