Hillary Clinton to make Cincinnati campaign stop next week

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Hillary Clinton will campaign in Cincinnati Monday with Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren - a rumored contender on the presumptive Democratic nominee's shortlist of running mates.

Clinton's camp announced the event will be held at the Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal at 10:30 a.m. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m.

Warren and Clinton recently met for about an hour in Washington, according to the Associated Press. Warren is described as an outspoken favorite of progressive voters.

"At a public event in Cincinnati, Clinton and Warren will discuss their shared commitment to building an America that is stronger together and an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top," read a prepared statement from Clinton's camp.

Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley will also host a private fundraiser with Clinton at his home Sunday night.

Earlier this month, Clinton twice canceled private fundraisers at Cranley's home to honor the Orlando shooting victims.
