CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Police are looking to identify two people in connection with an assault on a Metro bus driver.

The driver picked up the man and woman at the 6th and Race St. stop. She advised the man that he needed to put on a shirt and pull up his pants before boarding the bus, according to the Cincinnati Police Department.

Officials say the man got on the bus and rode the Metro to the stop at Harrison Ave. and Queen City Ave.

When the man and his female friend went to get off the bus police say he threw some type of liquid on the driver from an open container. He then allegedly threw the container at the driver, striking her in the face.

Anyone with information about these two individuals should contact CrimeStoppers at (513) 352-3040.
