FOX19 - The National Take Your Dog to Work Day is an unofficial holiday and will take place this Friday.

It's also a day to celebrate the human-animal bond and put a spotlight on a dog's special ability to lower stress in the workforce.
Only about 12 percent of people are allowed to bring a dog into work. If you are planning to bring your dog to work, experts offer these tips.
Make sure your co-workers aren't allergic, have materials on hand for accidental messes, and don't forget to take them out during your work day!
