BRACKEN COUNTY, KY (FOX19) - A Bracken County teen is recovering after a rabid fox attacked him earlier this week.
The 18-year-old was working on a farm on Cook Ridge Road June 18 when he came in contact with a grey fox that was under his truck.
The animal bit him on the hand and wouldn't let go. Witnesses managed to free the teen and trap the fox, according to health department officials.
The fox was put down and tested positive for rabies.
The young man received numerous shots, but is expected to recover.
