CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The OmniMax Theater at the Cincinnati Museum Center will close Monday after the final showing of National Parks Adventure.
The final shows will be every hour on the hour from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $7.50 per adult.
The theater is the last venue to close ahead of a $212.7 million restoration project.
The 2-year restoration will make repairs to the interior and exterior of the deteriorating building. The famous fountain and grounds will also get a facelift.
During the restoration, the Duke Energy Children's Museum and the Specialty Exhibit Hall will remain open. "DaVinci, the Genius," is currently on display at the specialty hall and "Inside the Grin," an interactive exhibit about oral hygiene is on display at the Children's Museum.
