ROSELAWN (FOX19) - A $250,000 bond has been set for the 27-year-old man is accused of killing his neighbor over the holiday weekend.

Kayle Taylor of Roselawn faced a judge Monday morning on charges of aggravated murder and aggravated burglary, Hamilton County court records show.

Cincinnati police announced overnight he was arrested at 11:35 p.m. Monday in the homicide of Tammy Wiley, 54.

He is accused of killing the woman while committing or while attempting to commit aggravated burglary, police wrote in a criminal complaint filed with Hamilton County Municipal Court.

Her body was found on her bedroom floor when police responded to a report of a deceased person at an apartment building in the 1500 block of Section Road early Monday, the complaint states.

Her head was bound with duct tape covering her eyes, nose and mouth, according to the complaint.

Several items including cologne, duct tape, change in a container and clothing were taken from her residence and found when authorities searched Taylor's apartment, police wrote in the complaint.

Taylor was charged after police said they interviewed witnesses and Taylor, processed the crime scene for evidence and searched Taylor and his apartment.

He lives in an apartment in the same building as the victim, records show.
