Cincinnati gas prices drop

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Good news! Average retail gasoline prices in Cincinnati have dropped over nine cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.33 on July 4th, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 637 gas outlets in Cincinnati.

This compares with the national average that has fallen three cents per gallon in the last week to $2.26 a gallon according to GasBuddy.com.

Including the change in gas prices in Cincinnati during the past week, prices yesterday were 42.3 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 32.4 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.

Areas nearby Cincinnati and their current gas price climates are down too:

  • Dayton- $2.25/g, down 8.4 cents per gallon from last week's $2.33/g.
  • Lexington- $2.14/g, down 8.8 cents per gallon from last week's $2.23/g.
  • Louisville- $2.33/g, down 10.8 cents per gallon from last week's $2.44/g.
