Former Jackson ranch guard testifies on alleged false imprisonment
An ex-security guard at Michael Jackson's ranch says a notice was posted there advising guards that the boy who's now the singer's accuser should not be allowed to leave.
Witness Brian Barron said the note was on a guard station greaseboard for a week -- around the time the boy's mother says they were being held against their will. An activity log contained a similar note, saying: "The kids are not to leave, per Joe," a reference to a ranch manager.
Under defense questioning, Barron said it would have been appropriate to keep children on the estate if their parents weren't present. The trial recessed after a half-day session, as scheduled. Prosecutors say they'll rest their case next week.
