DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Police in Deerfield Township are searching for two suspects who robbed a Verizon Wireless store Sunday.

Shortly after 4 p.m., police said two masked suspects entered the Mason-Montgomery Road store and displayed a handgun to the clerk ordering him to a back room of the business.

The Warren County Sheriff's Office said the suspect dragged the clerk to the back room by his clothing, tied the clerk up with an extension cord and allegedly forced him to give up nearly $10,000 in cell phones.

The suspects also took about $250 from the register, police said.

A robbery like this one is similar to one which occurred in the Village of Germantown on June 24, police said.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
