Crews battle fires in Norwood, Lebanon

NORWOOD, OH (FOX19) -

Crews battled apartment fires in Norwood and Lebanon early Friday. 

Firefighters fought to extinguish a two-alarm fire that evacuated an apartment building in the 4200 block of Grove Avenue about 5 a.m., dispatchers said.

No injuries were reported, but four people were displaced, fire officials said.

At least one resident said he was sleeping when flames broke out.

Grove Avenue is shut down between Forest and Williams until further notice.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. A damage estimate was not immediately available.

Up in Warren County, Lebanon firefighters were on the scene of a working fire with a possible entrapment in the 500 block of Cincinnati Avenue.

No injuries were reported.
