CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Black Lives Matter Cincinnati still plans to hold its rally Sunday in light of the police shootings that happened in Dallas.

“Our movement had nothing to do with the shooting of these officers," read a statement released by Black Lives Matter.

The rally will be held in front of Cincinnati Police District 1 at 4 p.m.

Black Lives Matter says its rally is for “the recent executions of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile” and they “must also recognize that this directly affects the fight of families in Cincinnati who faced cop violence.”

The march will start at Police Headquarters on Ezzard Charles and will past the spot where Timothy Thomas was killed.

They ask attendees to bring a single flower to lay as well.
