BUTLER COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -

A Butler County Jail inmate who escaped custody while at an appointment at Fort Hamilton Hospital Tuesday is back in custody, according to the sheriff's office.

Bradley Brooks Jr., 30, was found at 7:45 p.m. at the intersection of Rockford and Weinman drives in Hamilton.

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports Brooks pretended that he needed to use the restroom and upon reaching the restroom he fled on foot.

Brooks faces multiple counts of failure to comply with a court order - all misdemeanor charges. He is also charged with receiving stolen property, having weapons while under disability - both felonies - and a misdemeanor theft charged through Area II court.

Sheriff Jones said Brooks will face additional charges for this incident.
