A teen driver faces an OVI charge after a double rollover crash briefly closed northbound I-75 early Wednesday.

Alexis Patrick, 19, of Cheviot also was charged with driving under suspension and failure to control her motor vehicle, Sharonville police said.

Officers encountered her when they responded to a report of a crash with at least one, possibly two, flipped vehicles on the northbound lanes of the highway between Sharon Road and I-275 about 3:30 a.m., according to a prepared police statement.

When they arrived, officers said they saw a 2016 Chevy Sonic and 2009 Toyota Corolla both on their tops.

It appears Patrick's Toyota was traveling at a high rate of speed and hit the Chevy, causing both cars to flip, police wrote in the statement.

Patrick and the driver of the Chevy were the only occupants of their vehicles and suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the Chevy was taken to West Chester Hospital, and Patrick was taken to Bethesda North Hospital.

Police said they determined Patrick was driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
