MADISON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - The Butler County Sheriff's Office are investigating the discovery of bones found by a farmer in Madison Township Monday.
Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports the farmer found the bones around noon while bailing hay.
The bones were collected and examined by a forensic anthropologist to determine what kind of bones they are and if they are animal or human.
"We always take these findings very serious. We receive calls quite frequently for bones and normally they are animal," said Lieutenant Langmeyer.
Lt. Langmeyer said they should know more within the next 48 hours.
