Williamsburg Township (FOX19) -

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon.

According to the Batavia Post, Kenneth Jackson, 55, was driving a 2015 Toyota pickup truck eastbound on Twin Bridges Road when he failed to yield from a stop sign and struck Joe Carroll, 66, who was traveling southbound on a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Investigators said Carroll was pronounced dead by the coroner. Jackson was not injured.

Alcohol or drug use does not appear to be a factor in the crash, police said.

Carroll was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, according to officials.
