CHEVIOT, OH (FOX 19) - A Cheviot woman is charged with aggravated menacing after attempting to poison her neighbor's dog, according Hamilton County court documents.
The neighbor told police he witnessed Omega Khodiyev pouring boric acid outside his apartment Monday. Khodiyev stated she "was scared of my dog and was trying to kill her," read the man's statement to police.
After asking her to stop, the man told police Khodiyev ran into her house and returned with a steak knife. She lunged at the neighbor and said she retrieved the knife because "she couldn't beat me," according to court documents.
A judge on Monday set Khodiyev's bond at $50,000.
