Filming for "The Life and Death of John Gotti" gets underway Tuesday off Stone Barn Road in Indian Hill.
A letter was sent to residents in the community notifying them of the filming and road closures that coincide.
As we've reported, Travolta is playing mobster John Gotti.
Travolta's wife Kelly Preston is playing Gotti's wife in the film.
Directed by Entourage's Kevin Connolly, the film is expected to depict the relationship between Gotti and his son who chose to leave the mob world.
Gotti was sentenced to life in prison in 1992 after being convicted of murder and other charges. He died a decade later, behind bars.
Since the Stars have been in the Queen City, there have been several sightings.
Travolta was spotted at a menswear store on the west side and just this past Sunday, Preston was seen at the Zoo with the kids.
So, why film in Cincinnati?
The Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Film Commission says filmmakers are taking advantage of Ohio's revised motion picture tax credit which reimburses movie makers for some expenses.
